DHL continues to drive Formula 1®’s zero-waste initiatives forward.
Strategy, Rights Management, Idea Generation, Integrated Planning, Communications, Content Creation, Project Management, Measurement, Social & Digital Positive Fashion and Formula 1® are both close to DHL’s heart. As part of the brand’s broader Group mission to become zero-emissions by 2050, DHL are seeking for opportunities to drive forward zero-waste and circularity initiatives in Formula 1®. This in addition to seeking more sustainable transport solutions to help the sport achieve a net-zero carbon footprint by 2030. The Circuit Collection, hand made from recycled DHL banners from Formula 1® tracks. A capsule collection born from the possibility of giving a new life to DHL F1® advertising banners which are tricky to recycle. Working with circular design specialists, BEEN London, the banners were transformed into one-of-a-kind, collectible items featured in fashion and motorsport press and sold online. All profits have been donated to Plastic Bank, a social enterprise dedicated to removing plastic from oceans and waterways.
